She went to her grandmother`s favourite rocking chair and found out that it was still warm, as if someone had sat on it for quite a really long time and had just got up. She went back to her grandmother`s room and realised that her grandmother covered herself fully under the blanket and facing the opened window. Her grandmother appeared bigger too. This really made her thought that something was definitely wrong because her grandmother would always close and lock her bedroom windows without fail every night before she sleeps.
The kettle whistled even louder now and she rushed to the kitchen to turn the fire off. Just as soon as she turned to exit the kitchen, a quite buff masked man who was around 5"6' had his gun pointed straight at her head. She felt the cold metal against her mind went to a total blank. She couldn`t think of anything.
"Don`t retaliate. Just do as I say as you`ll be safe," the man said to her, still pointing the gun towards ger head. Ryder wondered where her grandmother was.
"Oh, your grandmother was being a bit too noisy and nagging too much. So I decided to put her to sleep and let her rest forever," he continued. Ryder`s heart sank immediately when she heard that. She just lost the person whom I really love. Who would have such a heart to kill an innocent elderly?
"This wouldn`t have happened and my grandmother would still be alive if Jessie were to just fuck out of my life," Ryder thought, being so pissed with Jessie. If it wasn`t for the commotion that Ryder and Jessie had earlier in the day, Ryder`s grandmother could actually still be alive now.

Her energy started draining out from all that has been happening. Everything felt like a dream but the pain on Ryder`s wrists told her that this was all real.

"Okay, whoever you are, calm down and don`t do anything to my daughter. I`ll give you what you want. Just don`t hurt my daughter please," Pete explained to Jacob who still remained anonymous.
Just as soon as Rick put down the phone, there was a loud thud on the big zinc door at the entrance. It was the police together with the SWAT team. Jacob just put up his hands and freezed but Rick tried running away. It was too late for Rick as the whole area was surrounded. Rick started shooting aimlessly towards the police but he ended up being shot on his legs. He was taken down by one of the police officers.
